Film Photomask Production Schedule
Our film-based photomasks are available with a range of fast turnaround schedules to suit your project needs. Choose from Sameday, 2 Days, 4 Days, or Economy (5 Days+) manufacturing options. We specialise in high-resolution film photomasks and rapid photoplotting for research, calibration, and industrial applications.
High Resolution Film Photomasks
- Standard (3–4 days): Our standard schedule for high resolution film patterns from materials held in stock. 99% of orders are shipped within this time, subject to demand. Fast completion of paperwork and rapid checkplot approval (within 4 hours) helps ensure timely dispatch. Orders received after 1pm start on the following working day.
- 2 Days: Express premium service for urgent film orders. Complete manufacturing package (data/instructions/order) must be received by 11:00am. Checkplot approval required within 1 hour.
- Sameday: Maximum priority service. All requirements must be received by 9:30am. Checkplot approval expected within 30 minutes. Class 4 products not included.
- Economy (5 Days+): For non-urgent orders, typical lead time is 5–10 days.
Photoplotting (Low Resolution Film)
Low resolution film services using photoplotting are often available on a sameday schedule, provided data is received before 12 noon and requires no additional CAD manipulation. Please enquire for large volume or complex orders.
How Our Express Service Works
If you order multiple film plates on an express schedule (Sameday or 2 Days), they are produced and shipped sequentially. All express orders are prioritised in our queue, but for large or high-resolution jobs, each plate may take several hours to complete. As soon as each plate is ready, it will ship immediately. Please advise us of any specific priority if certain plates are more urgent.
About Multiple Imagers
Although we have several imaging machines, for high-precision or high-resolution work we always use the same imager for every plate of the same design. This guarantees optimal alignment and exposure control. Only for standard or low-resolution (Class 1 or 2) film jobs can we use multiple imagers in parallel for even faster turnaround.
