PURPOSE
This calibration slide is designed for use with optical systems that have a large field of view, such as stereo microscopes, macro lenses, and wide-field imaging systems. It provides dual linear scales in both metric and imperial units, allowing for precise verification of magnification, spatial accuracy, and scale representation in captured images. The high-contrast chrome pattern ensures visibility under a range of lighting conditions. In addition to standard calibration, this slide is suitable for system alignment, measurement verification, and optical distortion assessment.

PATTERN DESCRIPTION
The slide features a dual linear scale—metric on the top and imperial on the bottom. Both scales use 0.010 mm wide tick marks. The metric scale includes one tick every 0.1 mm, with accentuated ticks every 1 mm. The imperial scale features one tick every 0.005 inches, with accentuated ticks every 0.1 inch. The total scale length is 50 mm for metric and 2 inches for imperial.

BASE MATERIAL
Standard versions are fabricated on soda lime glass with a low reflective chrome pattern deposited on the surface. The top chrome layer is oxidised (CrO) to reduce light reflections. Alternative substrate options such as Fused Silica (Quartz) or film are available on request.
TURNAROUND
Standard production turnaround is 5 working days from order receipt. Faster lead times are available upon request for urgent orders.
INSPECTION
All photomasks undergo a comprehensive inspection process. Key parameters such as Critical Dimension (CD) and feature uniformity are measured and recorded. High-magnification images (Nikon MM40 at 900×, OGP ZIP 300 at 400×) are stored with production data. For sectors requiring compliance documentation—such as medical or automotive—optional inspection certificates can be included with the order.
Standard: Full inspection performed; no documentation supplied.
Certificate of Conformance: Confirms compliance with internal inspection standards.
Certificate of Measurement: Verifies up to 10 user-specified dimensions within stated tolerances. CAD or marked drawing required. Additional measurements available upon request.
